Alain
Guisan.
Sound artist and performer from Switzerland, presently in Japan thanks to
a Fellowship from the Japan Foundation. His work aims at developing a
closer unity between body and
spirit, and explores how technology
can be used to reinvent the
original rituals of indigenous cultures with today’s means. Graduated in
micro-engineering and digital art, he has studied Butoh dancing since 2001
with Butoh Master Masaki Iwana and performed in several countries, such as
Spain, France and Japan. Alain Guisan
is the founder of the art-performance company b-polar.
アラン ギザン： スイス出身。サウンドアーティスト、パフォーマー。国際交流基金フェローシップ招聘者。プリミティブな儀式を再発見することにより、今日の手段となるテクノロジーを用いてどう身体と精神が一致することが出来るか探求している。エンジニア、デジタルアートを学んだ後、舞踏を岩名雅記に習い、スペイン、フランス、日本などで公演を行う。アートパフォーマンスカンパニー“b-polar.”ディレクター。
Miyuki
Warabiuchi. Performer and actor from Tokyo. Since the
finishing of her theatre studies, she has been learning Butoh dancing with
Masaki Iwana. Her dance is based on improvised movements created by images
emerging from some sentences or poems. She is seeking to create
“art-performance”, where performers, music, light and scenery form all
together a meaningful entity.
蕨内 みゆき： 東京出身。パフォーマー、俳優。演劇学校卒業後、岩名雅記に
舞踏を習う。2001年「二人静」2002年ＩＳＥＡフェスティバル参加など。2003年より拠点をスイス、ヨーロッパに移す。“b-polar.”カンパニーのメンバー。言葉のイメージから得る即興的な動きを好み、パフォーマー、音、光、美術が一体化したアートパフォーマンスを目指す。
Genta Iwamura.
Lighting designer, improviser and scenographer, director since 1987 of
“G. Lighting W. office”, a company specialized in theatrical set and
lighting design. Since 1990, he has been involved in the productions of
the Butoh dance troupe Sankai-juku. In 1997, he opened the studio gallery
“Nishijin Factory Garden” in Kyoto, to encourage creative interactions
amongst the artistic com-munity. Active in play, dance and Butoh
productions, Iwamura works and pursues his research on the expression
through lighting in structure, time and space.
岩村 原太： 劇場照明舞台美術計画設計「G. Lighting W. office」主宰。現在演劇と舞踊舞踏等の照明美術デザイン、スタッフ講座やライティングワークショップなどの企画開催〔1987年より〕、ダンスカンパニー山海塾（舞踏）に参加〔1990年より〕、京都西陣地区活性化実顕の試みに地域と芸術の庭園＝創作と生活の工場を提案、スタジオギャラリー「西陣ファクトリーGarden」開設、代表として現在に至る〔1997年より〕。光の表現、光を使っての空間時間構成を作業研究域とする。現在、ライティング･インプロヴァイザー/デザイナー･ライティシャン/コラボレーター･セノグラファ－として活動を展開。
